Modern World, No. 5 - Gary Indiana

Have you ever discovered a new band that was so exciting and wonderful that you wanted to keep them all to yourself? Bomis Prendin is one of those rare bands that cause that feeling. Their music features an incredible variety of sounds, images and structures that places it somewhere between slightly mutated rock and roll and pure experimental composition. Bomis Prendin is: Corvus Crorson, Bomis Prendin (the man), Bill Altice, Miles Anderson, and Candeee. The group is based in Washington, D.C., and have released one record, a 24 minute flexi-disc entitled "Test". The record has been tremendously popular, the first pressing is already sold out, while orders keep coming in. They have also made available a cassette tape entitled "Video Loss", which is a 45 minute program of the most impressive Bomis Prendin material to date.
